i gave some Mandroid Echostar a listen a while ago and dug it hardcore even on one spin
you're probably comparing them to Protest the Hero because they have a fairly similar sound

Didn't think you would but I'm sure I could find some Shotgun Messiah to put beside Razamanaz and you would see what I mean. Nothing to do with the music ,just the vocal tone. I love the Shotgun Messiah too btw but it's in spite of the vocals

Dodged a bit of a bullet with orphaned land - had them saved up for later. I like the album it came from as they ditched the growls (except for one song). I'm a sucker for that eastern sound in my metal though.

I like the mandroid echostar ep, not heard anything else by them. A bit modern sounding, I agree.
