I have no issue with ballads at all. Good melodies ,nice vocal/guitar work and there's a decent chance I will like it.

It's a vid capture from a horrible 80's pop version of the song "The Only Way Is Up".

I thought it'd be pretty well known as it was saturation point here at the time.

Just Wiki'd it and luckily for you it didn't chart near as well in the US as it did in Europe and Oz.

Our short haired girls were Annie Lennox, (Her voice is angelic) Marie Fredriksson from Roxette (Good Voice) and Dolores O'Riordan from the Cranberries. (I love her voice)

Those are the short haired female singers I remember.

You know which act is big here in the Philippines in the 1980s? AIR SUPPLY. They are so big that it's still on regular airplay in FM radio today.

I never heard of her!

I did see Roxette at a free radio concert one. They were good but I saw the Canberries and I was blown away with her voice.
