27 songs in all - yikes. I will aim for results next Friday earliest but if it's close I might leave it til Sunday to be sure, to be sure.

Yep glad you got them mate. Not too confident and just sent 5 random songs really. Really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Lucky it's the last round.

Well after a listen (or two in some cases) all I can say is that you guys have done well and it's going to be a close call. There's not a great number of 9+ scores in there I'm thinking but at this stage I can't see anything I have received scoring less than a 7.5 either. The sort of grouping I was hoping not to get

I will be rating in increments of 0.25 to try and get a bit more staggering of results......and then of course converted to a score out of 20. Any rounding may be affected by the "flow" of the EP but in the end the song ratings will be the main determining factor.

That's cool. I would be surprised if people did have 9+ songs left too.

If I had to guess, I'd say that my songs are going to get 7.5, 8, and 8.5.

I have spent today listening to my favourite 8 or 9 tracks and getting them ranked and rated with some degree of certainty. I think I can say a couple of things at this point:

1) Of the 27 songs there will be between 5 and 7 songs that score 9 or better.

2) At this early point it seems consistency across the 20 mins might win the day (ie the eventual winner may not even have one of the top 3 songs)

I've done enough listening now to know that I can commit to results on Friday (the earlier end of the timeframe I gave).

It's going to be damn close and if I procrastinate beyond Friday it'll just get ridiculous.............and I have 3 or 4 of your roulettes to try and prepare for

I have given each song between 4-7 listens at this point and it'll be up to 7-10 by Friday

Low end rating 7.75

Highest rating 9.5

Yeah I went into this thinking I had almost nothing myself, but Brent turned out to be a lot easier to please than I was expecting.

I also rediscovered a few things I haven't listened to in years, it was fun going through all of my old crap looking for things to send, and thinking "Why haven't I listened to this in so many years" or "Why the hell did I even buy this?"
