Recommend music/create playlists for my commute
« on: September 09, 2015, 07:29:42 AM »
I started a new job and my commute is at least an hour (usually more) both ways. I'd like to use the opportunity to check out new music/albums or (re)discover music.

Can you give me suggestions?

 Things that would be great:
I use Spotify, so if you could either list songs/albums here, or if you are really nice, create a playlist for me, and I can follow it on your profile.
You can do more than one if you would like. Or you don't have to do any.
Oh, tell me why you like the music so much.

Thanks!!
I don’t know what to put here anymore

Holy shit...an hour commute?  Mine is 15 miles and 30 minutes and I can't stand it.

I think you would like Riverside.

Pretty much anything besides country and trap music.

I've found this album to be terrific driving tunes...and aptly named. Roadsongs - The Derek Trucks Band
"Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are God. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are God.” — Christopher Hitchens
