Good job I didn't send last night as I was going the ballad route (showing my versatility )

No harm in sending a ballad twice.

UDO ballads don't count Paul.  ;)

With the second qualifying round, do the ones that had a good pick in the first get a bit of leeway if their song isn't up to scratch this time, or are you treating this one totally separate?

Probably a bit of leeway.  For instance, if Elite sends a mediocre song, he'll be aided by the fact he killed it in Round 1.  If he totally shits the bed though, I got no problem putting a bullet in him.

If it comes to a close decision for the final in-or-out spot #10, then I'll definitely be taking into consideration both rounds.

Cool shit.

Sent my song.  Sent a band Chad has tried a few songs and not been too keen on, so I'm hoping my good round 1 gets me through if he isn't too keen.  He should be though.

Unsurprisingly, 2nd submission by that band this round.  You guys are certainly trying to tell me something.

You know, I decided on the song when I was at work, but after reading this, I'm not sure I should send it. My entry may end up being the 3rd.

I'm sending it anyway, so hopefully it won't.  :lol

Edit: sent.

I've got 11/16 songs.  Listening will start tomorrow afternoon, and results Monday/Tuesday.  Stragglers need to submit tonight/tomorrow, or I only have to eliminate 1 person.  Makes my life easier.

I'll notify everyone when I plan to start listening to all submissions.  Submit whenever you want, but if you don't submit a song by the time I start listening, then you're self selecting your score. No sweat off my back.

Just thought I'd remind a few people of this.  Gonna start listening this afternoon.

I said I wasn't chasing anyone, and I'm not... but just in case Prog Snob, Zook, or Doc think they've submitted, I'm just letting you know I don't have anything from any you.

One listen in.  Fuck this is gonna be hard to put a bullet into 6 of you - or three of you if the above three make my decisions easier.   ;)

Looks like some interesting submissions in there - one of which I used in a recent roulette.  And then there's one of the metal warriors prepared to go down fighting in support of Rob Halford  :lol

So I guess Brent sent Arion and seneca went with Helker?

Also, my song isn't at Chad's last.fm recent listens. Not sure what to make of it.

Because you're the one fucker who's song isn't on Spotify (at least in Canada).  So it hasn't scrobbled from my iPhone yet.  And I didn't get entirely thru the round last night.  Working on the final few songs right now.  Though, I'm still missing one.  Methinks he's got bigger things going on.
