Periphery Survivor - Periphery - Round 10
« on: August 14, 2015, 11:20:48 AM »
Round 9 results:

Letter Experiment - 2
Jetpacks Was Yes! - 3
Light - 2
Icarus Lives! - 2

Current results:
1.
2.

3.
4.

5. Jetpacks Was Yes!
6. All New Materials
7. Ow My Feelings
8. Zyglrox
9. Buttersnips
10. Insomnia
11. Totla Mad
12. The Walk
13. Passenger

Well that was a disaster. Jetpacks just barely misses consolations and is out of the run for finals. Atleast we got the tiebreaker sorted with two new voters!

Letter Experiment for the nth time

Icarus Lives holy crap! This is like Pull Me Under reaching the finals of a Dream Theater survivor. Overall the results are pretty good, but Icarus Lives being this high is disappointing.

Except that Pull Me Under isn't a good song and Icarus Lives! is.  :corn

Icarus Lives remains the best song on the album, so it should still be here

1. Pull Me Under not a good song? I think I'm on the wrong forums.  :'(

2. Light get the hell out of here!

I'm not a big fan of Images and Words except for Metropolis, Wait for Sleep and Learning to Live. I would rank PMU in the top 20 worst DT songs, but that's a topic for the controversial opinions thread.  :lol

Take The Time is still objectively the best DT song (tho not my fav) so you're just plain wrong  :lol

I find all the melodies in it incredibly annoying. Probably my second least favourite off the album after PMU.

Icarus Lives I guess. Could go for Light, too.

Don't see how you can possibly state that with a straight face.

Let's agree to disagree whether a song can be objectively the best
