A remake of Jumanji, the 1995 fantasy-horror movie about a life threatening board game which comes to life, will hit movie theaters in time for Christmas, 2016.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.
Who cares? It wasn't that good a movie anyway.
But Kotow is right .
I don't really understand why people get so up in arms about remakes. I mean, yeah, obviously it's boring and unoriginal, but so is most other stuff coming out of Hollywood these days. Just don't watch it. That's what I plan on doing.

Zook is right.
Also, isn't it isn't that long ago this was out. Give it more time.

I think the problem with remaking a film like this is that the original already used up all of the good jungle-related ideas. So this new one will either have really lame things happen that didn't happen in the first, or it'll just copy all of the things from the first and be even less original and more pointless.
When Ginobili gets hot, I get hot in my pants.
It's because they keep making money. The movie-going masses just like seeing movies where they don't have to think and they already know what's going to happen. Remakes, sequels, and reboots make money.
I actually really like the original. I don't see the point in a remake though, its not like it was remake worthy IMO. Whatever though.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.
can we start a reboot/remake/sequel thread?I just saw yesterday there is a plan to re-do Nightmare on Elm St.....again. Also saw last month The Rock wants to remake Big Trouble in Little China.Egads.
The Rock will apparently also be doing a Baywatch film, which will be done in the same "tone" as the 21 Jump Street films.
