I could see the transformation from friends to couple being a bit awkward at first, but I would think once you get passed the first 15 minutes sitting at dinner (or whatever you are doing for your date) you'd realize that nothing changes about the way you act with each other, just at the end of the date maybe you get physical in some way.

I'm not saying that's why I love her  , but it definitely helps. She can hold her own, and the hard work she puts into her job scored us another 1000 square feet of living space. There's a very attractive element to that.

You think you'll be happier this way or you don't want to encounter unpleasant things like getting rejected? I'm this way, too (and too shy and awkward) and I really don't know what I really want. Just wanted to get your view on this

Also i resent the idea that just because I don't want to be in a relationship - that i'm automatically going to be LONELY - and that's clearly some kind of MISTAKE.
