The "neighboring" stars in a given constellation are actually nowhere near each other. For example, the closest star in the Orion constellation is 240 light years away, and the farthest is more than 1,300 light years away.
Meaning, if anything *we* should be in the same constellation with that closest star.

I think it would count as reincarnation, as the universe is only 13 billion years old.

Then again, the universe might just be one big episode of TNG's "Cause and Effect"!
Now that would be something to blow your mind for sure.

EDIT: Oh crap, you said seconds! :lol

Center of the Bible

Q: What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 117

Q: What is the longest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 119

Q: Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?

A: Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118

Add these numbers up and you get 1188.

Q:? What is the center verse in the Bible?

A: Psalms 118:8

Psalms 118:8

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

Nuggetz!
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Hmm. There's a lot of sites saying that it's an urban myth. E.g. https://www.jaalits.com/why-psalm-118-8-is-not-the-middle-verse-of-the-bible.html

I actually just read a bit about the chapter numberings on Wikipedia, interesting. That whole center-verse idea is very specific to Protestant versions though, it's not universal to all Bibles. The Catholic one has 7 more books, so its center is somewhere completely different.

So you are saying there are... multiple versions... of the book that was written by god?

Now that blows my mind.

Just realized that was probably unnecessary... so:

Andre the Giant once drank 127 beers and passed out in the hotel lobby. Since none of the hotel staffers could carry the Andre, they draped a piano cover over him and let him sleep in the lobby. It also took Andre almost two bottles of vodka in order to get a buzz. This information would eventually come handy when Andre went in for back surgery. WWE Chairman Vince McMahon recalls the anesthesiologist did not know how much morphine to administer Andre. So he calculated the amount based on the bottles of vodka it took to give Andre a buzz.
