Yes - hear Sanity Obscure: much thrashier and technical.  There is 1 song from that album on their myspace page (https://www.myspace.com/believerband) named 'Wisdom's Call.'  Side note: the drum intro always reminded me of 6:00.

You listen to too much music.  I mean, seriously, how can you have a personal relationship with a piece of music if you listen to that much.  Unless you're like my friend, who would download an album, listen to a few tracks, enjoy it, but never listen it again, yet keep it in his library.  And these are just bands we haven't heard of.

He only has one EP, but it's fantastic.  I don't think he's very well known, and especially not on a prog/metal forum.

it's a supergroup! you shold really try their first album !

they are one of the firsts in prog ! 3 years after King Crimson !
and also one of the first on concept album !

this may seem crazy, but yes, I do enjoy all those groups (among how many others?) I also have a full-time job where I spend approximately 1500 hours per year listening to music (podcasts, talk radio as well).

There's a ton of music out there, and I consider myself a hunter. I'm looking for the next artist to blow my mind. A bit like Apes and Androids did back in 2008. And in the process of hunting for those groups, I'll find many groups who I like. Just today I found one perhaps in this band called Fishermans Mission.

yeah I guess I wouldn't necessarily say to be a "fan" you require a "personal relationship" but maybe some people do. I just listen to a lot different bands. And Minus the Bear among a few others on that list I posted above were certainly ones I am not surprised to see other fans here, but my memory doesn't recall seeing much if any discussion about them here (on the 5/8, they are quite popular tho). I mean just as an example, I'm wondering those who are fans, even are aware they just signed with a record label (Dangerbird Records), and their next album should be released this Spring. But was that posted here? I'm not even sure there's a MtB topic, but if there is, I must have missed it.

But thanks for the kind words. I write about more or less all of the bands I'm into (which of course doesn't exclude music I've been a fan of for many years) on my blog and rateyourmusic page. As I'm sure others do around here. But I'm not sure how many others are *hunting* for music or have the time to like myself. But I've just learned I happen to enjoy and discover a ton of artists who barely if anybody knows or likes.

I know what HarlequinForest means. I like to listen to a decent amount of music, but I don't like to be too thinly spread, or else it doesn't feel like I'm really taking in the music I do like enough and giving it the time of day I feel I should. If it does feel that way to me, I get antsy about my music listening habits and intentionally focus in on X new albums.

I've yet to find another Moonsorrow fan on this forum  It's a shame, they are quite an epic band. Perhaps my favourite Scandinavian folk metal band (yes even moreso than Korpiklaani, Ensiferum etc). The deserve more fans!
