This is a good list, actually. It's almost identical to mine, depending on how I'm feeling about DPP and Once on any particular day.

Once gets the third place due to vote difference with Dark Passion Play — which is actually amusing, because in their head-to-head matchup, Dark Passion Play won.

Dark Chest of Wonders is the winner of Consolations!

So, Dark Chest of Wonders and The Siren advance to the Finals, and that's pretty much a failure since the right choice should've been Song of Myself and Meadows of Heaven. Still, I like The Siren quite a bit, so I'm not really disappointed about this one. Dark Chest of Wonders, however... yeah, I think this song qualifies as being the most inoffensive, nothing more.

Also, the fact While Your Lips Are Still Red got eliminated in the very first round is  -worthy.

Anyway, the Finals are upon us. Why, they'll begin right now.

Ghost Love Score is the winner of DTF Nightwish Survivor!

A predictable result to say the least, but still a worthy winner indeed. Beauty of the Beast takes the silver, and The Poet and the Pendulum rests on the third place.

I wanted to thank everyone who participated in this Survivor once again. I'm sure we all had a lot of fun and, basically, this thing was possible to run because you were interested in joining in and voting the songs off. I had a great time creating all the threads and participating with you and discussing our tastes and which song sucks and which doesn't and all that. So thank you again guys, it's been a blast!

Now I'm taking a break for Christmas / New Year holidays, and then we'll see. I'm thinking of running a short Beyond the Bridge Survivor if there will be enough people interested (since they only have one album, it'll probably take us no more than two weeks); then I'm thinking of doing another huge survivor in the vein of this Nightwish one - this time for Kamelot; maybe somewhere around February or March, once again if there'll be enough people on board (~10 people). We'll have a series of polls regarding this event (like "Should we skip the first three albums?" and so on), but all that will be more clear in future. For now, I wish you guys happy holidays and I'll see you around in Polls / Survivors section and on DTF in general!

Nice job Evermind!.. Even though I have strongly disagreed with the general opinion from this survivor, it was a lot of fun..

It has helped me to know the esteem that many of you have for songs that I don't care too much..
