It Follows.  One of my very favorites

I think if I was in that situation, I would fly to Nevada and stop by the Bunny Ranch, and then fly back to Detroit where they live. That should buy a decent amount of time, but not forever.

Definetely one the most terrifying horror movie ideas I've seen, but as a movie overall it didn't blow me away. Still pretty good though.

It was aiight. Way too hyped up, but well done.

Tonight I saw Little Sister, about the weird homecoming of a nun-in-training. Mixed feelings but enjoyed it overall.

A Fish Called Wanda

Kevin Kline puts on one of the best comedic performances ever.

Great film. Fierce Creatures isn't quite as good but still worth a watch.

I saw the new Godzilla movie tonight. It was alright.
The CG was pretty good, except the character animation was quite stiff and fake.
I wish they would have subtitled the Japanese chick trying to speak English. It was terrible. :lol At least she was hot.
The new backstory for Godzilla was serviceable, although a bit hollow compared to previous continuities. The movie focused a lot more on the human side, the politics, dealing with the public and evacuation, and the damage, and did not have too kind an opinion of the US. :lol Although that's typical of the Godzilla movies. I like that it tried to deal with the reality of it more, even though that got a bit dull at times. There was a little bit of humour in there though.
The scenes of Godzilla were limited, although still more than the US Godzilla movie had, and the shots of Godzilla in the dark were beautiful.
It was better than most of the Millennium series Godzilla movies, and they've left it very open to continue from here. Glad I got to see a Japanese Godzilla movie at the cinema at least.

I was roped into watching Ride Along 2.

Not as good as the first.  Make of that what you will.

The Shallows- Highly unrealistic but pretty entertaining and tense film. And Blake Lively has a rockin bod so that helped.

Moneyball

This is such a good movie. I read the book recently which was even better.  Today I picked up a similar book called Big Data. It's about the Pittsburgh Pirates and how they used sabermetrics to post their first winning season after going twenty seasons below .500.

I like Moneyball too, but I'm a sucker for a good baseball movie.  I don't like how they avoided the fact the A's had a great pitching staff which had probably had more to do with their success than the actual moneyball.  Didn't read the book though, so maybe its covered in there.

James bond SPECTRE

I love James bond, but man, I really do not like that movie. Waltz could have been incredible, but felt so underwhelming. And the "twist" between bond and Blofeld is so incredibly unnecessary. Overall the film feels flat.

Its not highly exciting or engaging like a Casino Royale or Goldeneye.

I think Goldeneye is the only Bond film I've ever seen.

Dunno, just never had any interest in the film series, yet it seems to be popular beyond belief. I guess I'm just not seeing something.

Stephen King's It. Yup, that one. Never seen it so far.

It obviously aged (the spider at the end... c'mon) and probably it was too long, and it's one of those "you had to be there" movies like the Goonies, but all in all was good. I prefer a lot more Shining, to make another example with a King novel turned into a movie that I didn't see only until recently, but I guess that back in 1990 seeing Pennywise in the sewers would give you the creeps for life. Tim Curry obviously made the movie, I could see why the character is so famous and iconic.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

This terrified me when I saw it in 1990. I bailed out before it ended lol

So brilliant. I've always been a huge Monty Python fan, but even most of the work they did after that was so hilarious. Even if it was a little cameo, like Eric Idle in European Vacation or when John Cleese was in that episode of Third Rock From The Sun.

Game Change (2012)
This was a made for TV movie I believe for HBO based of a book of the same name and detailing some of the inner workings of the 2008 Republican campaign of McCain/Sarah Palin. The movie was very well made and performances were excellent. Julianne Moore's particularly was very fantastic. I don't have any political insight to any party so I was watching this purely as a movie for entertainment value and I have to admit I actually identified a lot with Palin's character in the movie. Whether it was a 100% real depiction or not, I don't know or really care for that matter, I've been in a place like her where she's been thrust in a situation where you think you can handle the challenge and then have an internal breakdown when you get overwhelmed and everyone around you casting doubt making it even worse.
It was very cringe-worthy to see everything unravel and unfold but I was not bored for a single minute during the movie.

Hardcore Henry. What a fun and thrilling movie, I don't know if anyone other than video gamers will like it. It pretty much hit all the clichés of any first person shooter game and I thought was very well translated. Never a dull moment in the movie.

I'm not a fan of FPS games at all, and I'm only a casual gamer these days, but I loved it. The POV was such a well used gimmick that it made for a fresh take on the action movie.
