I like Primer a lot, but I'll admit I had to find an explanation online to even begin to make sense of the last third of the movie. :lol

I was fine up until the last 10 minutes of the movie, then I lost track a bit. I understood it fine on second viewing though. I don't think it's too confusing, it just moves really fast, and the amateur directing doesn't present it as well as it could in places.
And don't watch the guy's next movie Upstream Color. Fucking awful.

I liked Upstream Color. :lol

Oh. :lol It was far too strange for me. I stuck it out as long as I could and almost made it to the end, but I got so legit angry with its weirdness that I had to stop.

Just got back from seeing 10 cloverfield lane. I really enjoyed it. Solid performances, especially John Goodman
Do you read Sutter Cane?

Okay, someone recommend a movie - a good movie.

I watched Fermat's Room last night. Good, but not as good or complex as I was hoping for.

Had a movie party tonight and watched The Fifth Element  ( :heart) and Twisted Justice, a ridiculously hilarious low budget flick about a rebel cop in a future where guns are outlawed :lol

Last night, my 13 year old daughter wanted to watch Crocodile Dundee, so we did.  Probably my first time seeing it in 25 years.

I was doing it just to watch something with my daughter (doing the "Dad" thing), but it was actually better than I remembered.  It's not my idea of a "good" movie, but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

My son has become a huge Clive Nolan fan, just like me, so we watched Memento yesterday.
Him for the first time and me for the first time since he was a toddler...

Just as good as I remembered it.

Chris* Nolan ;)

Interstellar is great up until the tesseract. I like that scene but it's so at odds with the rest of the film. Plus the final wrap up is a big WTF.

Ha ha.... yeah, he is not a huge Clive Nolan fan yet ...  working on his music taste is not as easy as mivie taste. But at least he loved the Astonishing live...

Interstallar is really good but the ending takes it down a notch...
Inception is probably my favorite Nolan movie....

Inception > The Prestige > Memento > Batman Begins > Interstellar.

Not that any of those films are *bad* though. Interstellar just didn't do it for me like his other films did.

I wonder if that's due to the absence of Wally Pfister. Interstellar didn't look as nice as Inception did.

I'd probably place The Prestige at the top. It's THAT good.

After that, Inception and TDK are pretty much equal, then Memento, then all the rest.

I'm a bit miffed that his next movie is a war movie. I'm not interested in war in the slightest. I just assumed he'd always do science fiction or at least fictionalised stories.

Plus Hoyte Van Hoytema isn't Wally Pfister so it's hard to get excited about it without more info.

Yeah... without any more info than what is available now it seems unlike a Nolan movie. Still he will probably find a nice spin on it...

See the extended version and some deleted scenes, they give Rex Manning a much better character arc.

They had some scenes in this version that weren't on the regular DVD version, so I'm guessing they were deleted scenes.
