That was on not too long ago.  My favorite baseball movie is Field of Dreams, without a doubt.  Moneyball is a close second, followed by The Natural, Sandlot, and A League of Their Own.

A League is my second favorite.   The Natural is up there as well

A League of their Own is such a brilliant movie. Most of Tom Hanks' lines were hysterical. I don't think there are many others who could have pulled that role off.

A discussion about great baseball films must include Major League.

Major League was great. I didn't see the last one though. What was that one called...Back to the Minors?

I just finished watching The Canyons. What a really good movie. Most of the acting wasn't that good, except for Lindsay Lohan. It's a shame what she went through because she really is a good actress.

I liked we are what we are. No family is perfect and that family wasn't.

Did you watch the original or the remake (Mexican or American)?
I was describing the movie to a friend earlier and he was like "So is this a family that appears normal on the surface?" And I was like "Hell, no" :lol

Just finally saw Deadpool- brilliant!

Phone Booth for the hundredth time on TV. Isn't particular great or anything but i always like to watch it for some reason. I admit it's quite engaging (despite being pretty simple and with a low budget).

A.I. Artificial Intelligence. It's as fine as i remember it but can't help to imagine what it could have been if Kubrick directed it.

Nonetheless, two 6/10 movies for me.

A Time To Kill.  I've seen it a few times, but always sit down to watch it when it's on tv.

The DaVinci Code was on earlier and is one of my favorite movies.

Lots of movies get watched on the weekend.

Bridge of Spies. Big fan of Tom Hanks and he was great. It's one of those slow, but interesting movies you can be in a nice mood for here and there.

Everest. Impressive sceneries, it's about the 1996 disaster that happened on the return from the summit. So you can either watch a 2 hour disaster movie, or stop in the middle and watch a 60 minutes movie about people reaching succesfully the top.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

For the First Time

American Psycho - Very interesting movie, and a really weirdly fun performance by Bale. I must admit though that I don't quite get it. I have some ideas about what's going on but it doesn't quite add up, and I don't have the motivation to seek out explanations for everything. A bit awkward to watch, but still enjoyable in a strange way.

No Country For Old Men - Liked this one much better. My favorite thing about this movie was probably the amount of tension they were able to create. Some scenes are just insanely tense, much thanks to how brilliantly they set up Bardem's character.

Two great flicks!

No Country for Old Men features some of the most brilliant writing ever. I love how most of the film features no music; what we were seeing on the screen was intense enough, without needing the usual "building tension" music.

As for American Psycho, I like how they let you kind of figure out what happened for yourself.  Did he really kill all of those people or did he just imagine it??  Strong arguments can be made either way.
