I watched Moneyball again yesterday...love that movie.
Yeah, that was really good.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Yeah, that was really good.

Brad Pitt did a great job in it, too. I really haven't seen a role he wasn't able to pull off convincingly.

Enjoyed seeing The Good Dinosaur although the plot felt a bit familiar by Pixar standards. Certainly nothing as original or creative as Inside Out.

I just saw the new, Fantastic 4 and it was good.  Maybe because the expectations were low with the reviews but it's was nowhere as bad as everybody said.  This was good.  Not great but good.

Just watched The Revenant. Holy crap what a great movie.  Best movie I have seen this year. If it does not get a best pic nod I would be shocked. DiCaprio is amazing in it.

I will second Sicario. Good movie.

Just watched The Hateful Eight. Good movie. Not Tarantino's best. But good flick all around.

Also loved the new Star Wars!

Watched the original Wicker Man last night. Had no idea it was a musical. Awesome. Not very scary. I kind of want to live on that island. It's way more appealing than it was in the Cage version  :lol

I enjoyed that, but not as much as everybody else.

Last night I watched The Wicker Tree, which the director of the original Wicker Man made as sort of a sequel decades later. Holy fuck, what a steaming pile of shit. If only it had as much comedy value as the WM remake, but no such luck.

Jennifer Lawrence does a good job of making you really wish her character existed in real life. At least that's what I say.

I didn't have much of an opinion on her before watching this. Of course I've only seen her in American Hustle and maybe something else, but I can't remember. I like it. It's funny and I like the cast, it's a feel good movie

There's also Winter's Bone, which not many people mention, but apparently she was great in that (Nominated for Best Actress Oscar at twenty)

In the year it came out, Silver Linings Playbook was my favorite movie. I agree with BIZ- Jennifer Lawrence was really good. Bradley Cooper was almost even better though, which surprised me a lot at the time. I've noticed it on Netflix recently and thought about giving it a rewatch, but there are so many other things to get to.

I'm curious, what did you think of the original WM? I quite enjoy it, and avoided the remake due to all the bad reviews. Wondering now if the Wicker Tree is similarly worth avoiding or if perhaps you didn't even like the original much.

Ah, yes I saw Days of Future Past, I forgot about that. Haven't seen any of the Hunger Games movies, are they good?

And yeah, Winter's Bone is here at my house, my sister wants me to watch it with her.

And yeah, Bradley Cooper was fantastic.

:lol... I enjoyed the original a lot. The remake is funny-bad. Wicker Tree was funny-bad at times but mostly just shite. Painful. And the music, good gawd. Don't do it to yourself unless you deserve serious punishment. It takes a lot for me to say that, because I often watch bad movies for fun. I had to fast-forward through some of this.

Silver Linings Playbook.

Hit me right in the damn feels.

That was a great movie. It severely tugged at my heart strings.

You're right. She's that girl who makes you rethink your life and every decision you've made, and it makes you want to start over...with her.
