Oh I know most people loved it, which is why I don't say a ton about it, but I reallllllly didn't like it at all. Maybe a scene here or there, but that's it.

Oh man, if you had asked me after I saw it, I'd have pages of stuff to write, but I haven't seen it since it came out and really haven't thought much about it. I do remember thinking it just had a really bad scripts. That the basic premise was good, but the details and dialogue were so bad that I just couldn't take any of it seriously. Plus love transcends the 4th dimension.

Personally while I did like the movie I felt it was disjointed. I need to go and rewatch it. The last time I saw it was in theaters.

I liked it up until and including the Tesseract.

After that it just sort of .....couldn't be bothered.

Is that space station going to the planet where Brand is ?

If not - is it just to keep some humans alive forever ?

    Where is Cooper going ?

Is the wormhole still there ?

Why does he see his daughter and then immediately leave ?

If Coop saved humanity - how were there humans alive in the future to make the wormhole for him to use in the first place ?

D. E. B. S.

I'd heard of it, of course.  I'd heard it was a ridiculous piece of exploitative cinema, schoolgirls as secret agents in cute little skirts - and it was - but what I didn't realize was that it was also a lesbian fantasy action rom-com that works equally well as a satire or a terrific example of the very genre it's trying to satirize, or rather all of them at once.  Because it bounces back and forth between serious and absurd, you don't know whether to take it seriously or not, and in the end it doesn't matter; it was highly entertaining for its entire 91 minutes.

Yes, that's right, "lesbian" was first in the list of adjectives because that's what it was first and foremost, and unashamedly so.  But calm down already, it's only PG-13, and written and directed by a woman, so maybe not really "exploitative" but then who in the hell is the target audience here?  I don't know... me, I guess.  I laughed my ass off the whole time.  A tight, very well-written flick.

Five plaid skirts out of five.  Would watch again.

Hell House LLC (2015):

Surprisingly good found footage horror. Very creepy with one genuinely scary scene. The ending was a bit disappointing though, but that's common with the subgenre. 7/10

While I also think that Interstellar has some minor issues, I wouldn't say that it's any of those questions.

I saw The Breakfast Club the other day. For the first time, yes :D It probably was even on our national TV but I never caught it.
Also, Ghost World. I love this kind of indie coming of an age movies, recommended for anyone who like that as well. BTW 17 years old Scarlett Johansson is there.

I love Ghost World. Like you said, it's one of those great independent coming of age films. Though, I was far more interested in Thora Birch than Scarlett. It does have one of the greatest comebacks I've ever heard.

Indeed.  Watched it with my kids several months ago and they both loved it.

I have never heard of this.  Now I must see it.

Recently got the Collector's edition set of The Force Awakens that contains new extras and goodies including a commentary with J.J.Abrams so watched TFA again with the commentary, what a great listen that was, never boring for a second, interesting tidbits mentioned throughout along with the process creation. I really loved the movie and can't wait for Rogue One.

Also rewatched The Incredible Hulk as it had been a while since I saw it and it was a lot more fun than I remembered.

The Ed Norton one ?

I thought both were pretty terrible. But The Ed Norton one was marginally better.

It's in the lower ranking for the Marvel Cinematic Universe but it's still a good movie.

Most quotable movie ever, too. I'll watch Sixteen Candles anytime it's on, too.

As for last movie I watched, I saw Bad Moms. They should have just called it Bad Movie.

Suicide Squad.

Harley Quinn was awesome, the Joker was the contrary of awesome and all around forgettable, Deadshot was okay and the plot was kinda meh and convoluted.

Still a bit better than Batman V Superman.

It's better than BvS.

Watched X-Men Apocalypse.   8/10

The Nice Guys.  9.5/10

I love Shane Black movies.  Well paced, quirky,  violent,  funny and great dialog and acting.

I second that.  :lol  Two actors I absolutely cannot stand - Mike Myers and Dana Carvey. They're about as funny as a nun being raped by Cthulhu.

:metal Classic comedy movie. Second one is hilarious too, it's just a shame the movie was a little too late before the music scene took a turn, so it didn't do so well.

Yeah the second one was good too, not nearly as good as the first. Most of the Saturday Night Live movies were subpar, but Wayne's World was one of the better ones for sure

I do love that movie though. It's really amazing.
