Other than possibly adding another band/person or two to the banned list, I'm pretty much ready to go once life gives me a little breather. So, at the next opportunity, I'll be ready.  :metal :metal :metal

What about the Championship roulette? Evermind and Genowyn will both (if all goes according to plan) be done tomorrow and the Championship is in its second to last round atm. Then again, I don't know if the plan is to go to 3 or 4 roulettes at a time.

Yep, I will end mine tomorrow if nothing dramatic and extraordinary happens. Still, everyone who participated in the roulette or at least in the thread should keep an eye on the thread and on your PMs too for the next few hours.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Tyrias and lone star are ahead of me so they have first dibs. I don't want to start mine for a few weeks because concert season is insanely busy for a few weeks... (unless I do come up, in which case oh well).

Mine's all done.

I am looking to do something with a bit less responsibility so if someone needs a contestant, I'm around.

...my name is Araragi.

I've been running the Championship as a fourth roulette so that it didn't push back anyone on the list. But we'll be keeping to three at a time after it finishes, so no one on the list will be given the go ahead when it completes.

As for Genowyn and Evermind, I tell the next person in line to start their roulette once one of the running roulettes enters its final round, so JJ and wolfking have already taken their slots.

Tyrias and lone star are ahead of me so they have first dibs. I don't want to start mine for a few weeks because concert season is insanely busy for a few weeks... (unless I do come up, in which case oh well).
They both mentioned wanting to start later than you though, so yours should end up being the next one to start.

Not sure about JJ but I am confident I will be done well before three weeks from now, as I only have four rounds remaining. I'll just send Parama ahead of you if you aren't ready by the time I finish.

Nah, I'll do it. it'll just be that rounds won't necessarily move as fast as I'd like due to concerts. Once my performance season winds down it'll move a little more quickly.

Seems as though people signed up when we had a ton of interest in people hosting, and thus an expectation of not going for quite a while.  Now, due to a departure (GoD), and others not ready, the time between roulette's for people is shrinking.  Hell, Bolsters and Evermind went twice less than 12 months.

Most of the active members have done one (or two) already I suppose. I'm not really ready to do another one either; I'm discovering tons of music by myself now and I couldn't find the time with my currect work & living situation to force myself to listen to music other people send me for a couple of weeks in row. As much as I enjoyed running the first three, I can't see myself doing another one in the near future.
Hey dude slow the fuck down so we can finish together at the same time.

I think the two roulettes I did were exactly 12 months apart. Yeah, that was far quicker than I expected, but I like to think I did a good job with both. My next one is certainly quite far away at that point, I'm aiming at something like 2018-2020. Not sure yet.

I won't be in a hurry to sign up for my v3 either, especially if it's only going to be a few months of waiting.

My v3 won't be until very far from now either. I didn't even sign up for the v2 because I was in need of new music or something, I just thought it was an incredibly fun way of discovering that music.

But yeah, seems like the desire to host many more roulettes of the active roulette community atm is wearing thin. We can always recruit new DTF members so we can all send our overused songs to them.

Giggity... I'm still bummed at coming in 2nd with your first.  If not for that poor judgment call in sending Trilogy of the Damned in Round 1, I prolly would have.

I demand the chance to avenge myself ... again!

Tim is seemingly missing from the one-hit wonder list (apparently he won Seneca's 2nd roulette).  Who knew!

Now he graduates to the big-boy font - despite the fact he was never listed in the one-hit wonder category.

Depending on what counts as a 'common participant' I'd say Tomislav, he has been around in a couple of roulettes lately and I don't think he ever did one. Out of the other more common participants the two that have already done roulettes but have been the longest time since they did one are Big Hath and seneca.

Just thought of a deviously fucked up idea for my roulette.
