Soundscape gave me the go ahead to jump ahead of him. As soon as Lonestar posts Results, my OP is going up.

Should be next weekend at the latest, first impressions are written and already ranking songs.

No rush. Got the OP just about completed.

Still not sure I'll join yours, unless you're hungry for more J-metal...I could probably send a whole roulette of stuff like I did Rich, especially if you didn't check out those submissions. The pond is plenty deep....

Wow, all those bands and I'm pretty sure I still don't see the one I'm sending you after the roulette.  Nor does it have the one I sent a few rounds ago.  Deep indeed.   :coolio

I didn't realize Dir En Grey were Japanese. I've never heard them before, but I've seen them sent in many roulettes.

And this is one of the all time greatest live albums ever recorded.

I used to stare at the back cover pic for hours when I was a kid.

Tim, you looking for new blood or just to suffer (I suppose both if you get Glasser on board)?

We have two noobs in the roulette so far, and yes, one is Glasser.

Litho is still fresh, as it'll only be his second time in.

I got a theme in mind for a roulette if I can get placed in line. Nothing overly complex but I think it's interesting.

Definitely up for it.  I'll have to look at your old roulettes, but I think there's a lot of stuff I could send you that would probably work better than it would for most other people here.

My roulette has finally come to completion (other than post-roulette updates).

@Bolsters - do you keep track of anything like participants who win the first roulette they ever participate in?

Brent (bl5150) won his very first roulette and his second I think :lol He was like 3/5 or 3/6 at some point (won/participated).
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

I’d like to know if I can be declared the winner of Deadeye’s roulette yet. There was only one round left and I think it’s pretty clear that he scrapped the last round and wasn’t likely to continue it.

But also, haven’t seen him around here in a while and I hope he’s ok.

Not something I've kept track of, no. The roulette archive has them all in mostly the correct order (they are listed in order of when they ended not began) so it is something that could be figured out.

I’d like to know if I can be declared the winner of Deadeye’s roulette yet. There was only one round left and I think it’s pretty clear that he scrapped the last round and wasn’t likely to continue it.
That's not a thing. Partially because it wasn't when I took over handling things, and because not all of the abandoned roulettes were being tracked and I know some have been lost. But mostly I just didn't want to come up with a set of rules regarding how much time needed to pass or how many rounds in someone had to be before it happened. :lol The record between updates is something like 240 days, so while there's definitely zero hope for a lot of the hiatus roulettes, I don't consider Deadeye's a lost cause just yet anyway.

I wonder how long we need to wait to put 425 on hiatus...again.   :(
I'm never in a rush to move roulettes into that status even though they can be easily brought back out of it...having said that, there's actually a waiting list again now, so I won't let 425 keep taking up a slot for too long either (especially given their track record). But it's only been two weeks at the moment.

Agreed. I think there have been one or two occasions when the host has decided to cut the roulette slightly short and given the win to whoever was leading, but that's a decision for the host to make.

Thinking about finally doing a roulette. I’ve been here 12 a half years and never done one or participated in one, but I’ve done some stalking on some of the recent ones and came up with my own idea for one. Don’t put me on the list just yet though.

Hosting before playing?  Even I wasn't that bold.  Surely that's been done before?  Don't know much about your tastes other than Devvy, but I have way more music to send than there are hosts to listen, so I'm definitely game for it.
