Would there be an interest for a genre specific roulette? ie having individual rounds for each genre...pop, blues, jazz, country/western, hip hop/rap, etc?

As long as it isn't any of those genres.

Sure. I’ll just take the zero on the hip-hop/rap.
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

I think "The Glass Prison" has some turntable scratches, maybe he'll accept that.   :D

How about if he sticks a J- in front of them?
Jazz already has a J in front if it.

I would totally be down, all my playlists on Spotify are organized by genre.

Absolutely :metal

I think it might be a good idea for each round to have 2 optional (maybe even opposite) genres so people have a bit more room of what to send. For instance, if I have to choose between Country and Electronic, well, you know what I'm sending right away :lol

Personally I kind of prefer the idea of having each round more singularly themed, but I suppose having two separate styles in a round does have  advantages as well, and maybe the ambitious could find something that blended them.

Country: American genre derived from Southern and Appalachian forms of American Folk Music and later Rock and Pop influences, with a focus on the life and culture of rural America.

Electronic: Uses non-traditional electronic instrumentation and sound manipulation technology as the primary backbone of a composition.

Of course I can't really plan your roulette for you, but I looked at the OPs of your earlier two roulettes, and if you do something like this, a couple "normal" rounds as well might not be bad either.  I definitely have a pile of potential stuff to send that might work better for you than some other hosts here.

Nope, everything I've heard is in the blast radius of Senri Kawaguchi. Her solo work, Triangle, Kyo-Sen, and the Jazz Avengers.

Saw Rich is ahead of me on the waiting list, and I bounced around his RYM a bit. I think I may have enough Japanese stuff to do a full roulette and stand a good chance of winning with him based on what he likes so far from the genre.

I still love my idea of a roulette where each participant has to send songs from one particular country (each person choosing a specific one) for the whole thing.  Might even consider hosting a mini-one later this year or next one after my own is done.  Maybe I could figure out a way to make myself a participant as well and have everyone score my own entries or something, somehow scored anonymously via another participant or something like that.

Sweden would be the easiest for me, but I think I'd claim the Netherlands to make it more challenging and fun, and it's my second favorite anyway.

Sure I can.  :)  I'd just be competing against myself each round, and would have a separate score from everyone else, and thus be ineligible to "win".  Kind of a variation of what I'm already doing in my current one.  I'm also fine if someone else wanted to steal a version of the idea and host one before then.
