No - this would just be for fun. The last two were for discovering new music, which I'm still actively doing - but I like the competitive spirit of roulettes so a quick and simple one would take no time to do

Looks like Tomislav is getting close to his final round. As my overeager post on the last page might have indicated, I'm ready to go and plan on posting my thread once Tomislav starts his last round.

Format will be very straightforward: It's going to be a mini-roulette with 3 open rounds and an EP round. No limit on the number of participants, and in fact I would be thrilled with a larger number. I will narrow the field to a manageable number of finalists for the EP round, but other than that, no qualifiers/eliminations.

Current direction of my tastes is pretty hard into prog metal and quite classic prog/neo-prog curious, FWIW.

Hope folks are interested?

A quick skim thru your last roulette (hot-linking the results was very helpful!), and that's a lot of holes.  Not often you see Zeppelin, Floyd, Genesis, Queensryche all eligible.

FWIW, there should still be a lot of holes, but I will be tightening up the banned list a bit this time to prevent repeating many artists from the last roulette.

I got the go ahead so I'll be starting one soon. 5 rounds, then an EP round, then an album round based on one artist. Considering a concept album for the final round. Any takers?

The banned list will be relatively short for this one. Most of the artists submitted in the last one will still be eligible, only a few I won't allow. The first 5 rounds are more about fun than me actively seeking new music (still combing through artists from the last one, naturally), and the last rounds are all about being creative.
