i'm pondering something

on another site i frequent the forum holds a monthly-ish song contest where users submit a song and then everyone listens to and rates the songs, giving points to their top ten

i feel like this would be something that could definitely be done on this site to get more people involved in finding new songs/artists better than just having a few roulettes running at once, and each contest would be confined to one thread in the music section so it wouldn't clog up the forum or anything

would people here be interested in something like this?

Had a helluva sleep in. Company was over last night and scotch was consumed. Went to be around 1am (hey, we're fogeys - so 1am is late - especially since I was running on 4 hours sleep from the past two nights). Just dragged my ass outta bed now. Q: What type of person are you ?

a. ) Turn up to work 5 mins before your shift so you can just get on with it...

b. ) Turn up to work 30 - 45 mins before work so you can sit and chill before your shift.

a.) You aren't counting *up* to when you're supposed to start and getting to work and basically getting ready and beginning on time means from that moment - clock is ticking. Also this way - there isn't

a chance you'll be asked to start early !

b.) This is nice, too. But nowadays I prefer to just get up earlier and take longer to get ready etc.
