Nope, there are now an infinite number of Deloreans. Hell, there were two within a few miles of each other at one point in BTTF3. That was always one of my biggest gripes.

Probably because that's a bad idea due to causality. If you rip the fuel line out in 1885, how can Marty use it in 1955?
The movie is far from perfect where it comes to time travel, but that one makes sense.

No way! Doc left himself a list of 1950's era parts that could be used to repair the time circuits that were fried when he got hit by the lightning. I'm pretty sure adding a "p.s. You need a new fuel line" at the bottom of the parts list would not have disrupted things too much. It would have probably been the easiest repair.

Whether or not it's doable is largely irrelevant, because it's still a change to the timeline and an unnecessary risk (unless they had been stuck for a while and had no alternative but to change the timeline anyway). It creates a new paradox loop, because changing the instructions to 1955 Doc is reliant on Marty already being there to change it. The paradox might sort itself out after a few iterations, it's hard to know with how loose they played the time travel, but it's not a good idea.

And it's also kind of hard to judge how difficult it would have been to repair that problem in 1955 given that what they call the fuel line was completely wrong.

Not to mention that it's a movie, and if it was allowed, then there's no movie!

Our well pump went out, so we're going to switch to city water. Already have a hookup for it in the basement, since it's already running out to the apartment, so the switchover will be a hell of a lot cheaper than the $1300 to fix the well pump and less hassles, aside from the monthly bill we'll now have to pay. This comes at the same time we're having the fish pond cleaned. They'll put the fish in a holding tank, drain it, pressure wash everything, straighten everything up, refill it, and put the fish back in. Before when they'd done this, they'd used part well water and part dechlorinated city water (from the apartment). Now they're going to have to use ALL city water.

The charge is listed on American Water's website as $1.0214 for every 100 gallons of water. The pond is about 2100 gallons. So last night, I inadvertently divide 2100 by 10 (NOT 100 as I should have) and determined it was going to cost $214 to fill the pond. WTF?

Mrs. C. was understandably not pleased with this whatsoever, as she was a little hesitant about switching to city water anyway.

Through much back and forth today, I saw where my error lay and that it will actually only cost about $21 to fill the pond.

Just fucking NOT with it today.

So i've probably got this job "If I want it". I'm sure i'll accept it since I don't want to claim welfare because as i've mentioned ample times before - it's soul crushing.

Also - it's in my hometown and i'll be near to family if I have a bad day I can go and hang out with them and talk it over.

If it's too stressful - it's only 4 hours a day so it's almost over anyway. 4 hour shifts at Starbucks were over in a flash.

I have my new bike so getting in and out of work will be fun at least.

Plus it's also a live music venue in the evenings so that should be fun

Everything except the dialogue, and the textures on the Cybermen. I did all of the rest myself, including modeling, animation, programming, music etc.

First training day on my new job at the small cafe in town

Was pretty laid back and fun. Nothing i'm not familiar with !

Because the cafe also has a live music venue in the basement - the manager took me aside and said because I have an HND in music on my CV ( Resume ) - that it would be good if i'd help out with the open mic nights and stuff !

Sounds like it'll be a fun job and once I get my own place and my bike back on the road - I might *actually* be a happy KB !
