Back from our weekend getaway, and I am DRAGGING.

Was the weather as bad as you were saying beforehand?

Actually, no. While itt was windy the whole time, most of the rain held off until yesterday, when we were leaving. My wife and I had an AWESOME time, and we talked about it yesterday - part of our exhilaration during the weekend probably came from being thrilled that we were NOT getting rained on the whole time like we expected. We were able to explore areas we had never been to before, and ate a LOT of great food. It was the best weekend ever.

I hate Mondays in general, but I'm really hating this one. I didn't have a weekend. Victoria and I hosted mother's day. We literally didn't see each other Saturday. About 35 hours of work between us to entertain people for four hours.

Sounds like whenever we are entertaining my girlfriends mother.

Morning folks.

So at work (yea I know ya'll are sick of me bitching...

) we finally have our other "shift lead / assistant supervisor" back working with me. He and I spent an hour working up a plan to put in action if a certain employee decides he isn't going to come in to his shift this morning (he had personal reasons...) Well... He decided (due to his not getting back to us) that he's going to work. BUT at 6am, which is way to damn late to put our plan in to action, someone else *cough supervisor cough cough* calls in sick (again) and it's all thrown out the window.

*rips hair out*
