Sipping on coffee, listening to Queen, and finishing cleaning the house before I gotta leave to pick Panda up. I am in a surprisingly good mood :JayOctavarium:

I'm also trying to calm my cousin down (well.. my stepmother's niece... She has been my fucking cousin for 15 years and I don't care what certain people say about us not being related...anyways...) her brother, who has  a beautiful (fiance? girlfriend?) and an adorable 1 year old son just lost his job again. He's a recovering addict and has been down in the dumps enough to possibly relapse.  It fucking sucks because his sister is already a worry machine and she's having a panic attack. I wish I could fucking help them both.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
