I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Oh yea. Long story short... she is the girl I feel the most comfortable with. Like... even over my (whatever Panda is to me at the moment)... This girl... she was my ex's best friend in high school and later on. I always had a huge crush on her and my ex knew it and used it to her advantage. Fun times were had. There was a moment when my relationship wasn't going well when she and I could have became a thing. It never happened but to this day I still wonder about what could have been. After my ex and I broke up for good I kinda tried going after this girl. At that time though she was living in Bakersfield (a good couple hour drive from me) and soon moved to PA and then CO, which is where she is now. Living with her... fiance.  Oh well.

I kinda wish I had that mentality in high school. My ex that I speak of was my best best best friend for 2 years. After dating for 4 years and breaking up... I found that the hole left from not having her friendship was even bigger and deeper than the hole left from the romantic aspect of it.

I miss my custom emoticons so much. I used to have a workaround to use the larger icon size for non animated emoticons too. Then Microsoft forced everyone over to Skype, which is nowhere near as good for instant messaging as MSN was, sadly. I'm hoping one day they'll bring back the custom emoticons, because when I'm chatting with people I used to chat to on msn, we still type out the old emoticon triggers. Good times.

Skype is terrible for Instant Messaging. the day they introduce custom icons is the day I bring back all my saved MSN smileys.
