After some months of waiting and playing some roulettes, it's finally my turn to
make you suffer try this.
A bit on my taste of music. After some months wondering, I've reached to the conclusion that I like my music to be unique (nothing I've heard billions of times), smart (made by talented musicians) and either beautiful or badass. You can see now what all my album on my
top 50 list have really different moods, atmospheres and overall, they're really different one of each other.
I like *almost* everything. And by
almost I mean a) I try to expand my tastes all the time, b) there are so many genres I've never heard and c) I'm not a fan of thrash, speed, power and cheesy prog metal, nor 70's prog rock (although there are some exceptions) nor radio pop music (either modern of 80's). And another thing. I have no problems with old music, while it's good, but there is a problem (at least for me) with this kind of music: vocal lines. They're dreadful or senseless, and I don't feel like singing along them. This also applies to a lot of genres, specially the metal subgenres I mentioned.
My take on harsh vocals: I'm not a big fan of the cookie monster thing, although I'm getting used to it, and I like it when it's well done, like in Opeth. But there are some kind of them, like in BTBAM that are too throat-y and aren't my thing. But I've grown to like harsh vocals and some screams thanks to Devin Townsend and his amazing voice/technique, so don't fear to send me stuff like that.
And finally, I'd prefer if you send me Spotify links. Please, avoid Youtube vids because I'm using a netbook to listen to new music and YT works horrible. You can send me mp3 files though. MEGA will be fine. In case of emergency, just tell me the song and band name.

Will rate your songs in a normal 1-10 scale, and there will be, by now, 8 rounds. Each song will be listened at least two times, more if needed. If you send a grower, please note it. It won't affect the note if I didn't like it at first but ended up loving it, thus be careful with growers.
Rounds and themes (may add or cut some if necessary)1- Open Round (test yourself and my tastes)
2- Catchy catchy (a really catchy (duh) song or riff or chorus or whatever gets stuck in my mind)
3- SW would cry (make me cry too - just the saddest most depressing song you can imagine)
4- Life is beautiful, isn't it? (and so are the songs on this round)
5- Darkness (I'm sucker for this kind of stuff)
6- Music for Airports (google it and you'll know what is this about)
7- Epicness (doesn't need explanation, I think)
8- Open Round - Reprise (last chance to gather points)
Special pointsAt the end of this, the one with more points by their song scores may not win the game, but who gathers enough roulette and special points. These will be counted and granted during the game for each round. Here are:
- A song from an album on my to-listen list (2 points)
- A song from a genre I haven't heard before (3 points)
- Theme winner (4 points)
- Band/album I didn't like, but it turned out to be awesome (artists on the danger zone count for this) (5 points)
- Song from genre I don't like, but ended liking what you sent anyways (5 points)
These points can be accumulative, it means, one song can enter several of this categories and earn more than one of this special points. And several persons can earn them at the same time. You can use them in every round. Using the last two points is risky, since you may end up with a low score or it might pay off and earn you lots of points.
To-Listen listI have lots of albums on the list, like 300+ or so. Thus, I've compiled most of them on some collages. Here they are:
Part 1Part 2 Part 3Part 4Participants1- Nekov
2- Elite
3- mikemangioy
4- Evermind
5- jingle.boy
6- Tom Bombadil
7- Shadow Ninja 2.0
8- Lucien
9- Scorpion
10- Tyrias
Edit: I've cleared some rules regarding the special points and how they work. Please check them. Sorry for all the inconveniences.
