Oh, and there better be a round with the theme of "one-hit wonder".

Black Betty and Sharona demand it.

I'm bumping in preparation for take off. I know it's been a little while since I started the thread, but hopefully everyone is still down to play. We still have a bit of time to collect ourselves anyhow, as we wait for either DTVT's or Laughingplace's roulettes to finish. Just some basic ground rules- please try to submit songs in a timely manner. And if you don't think you can send something within a couple days of results being posted, feel free to send songs ahead of time. Obviously if you're not going to have problems with sending on time you should wait for results so as to get a better idea of my tastes, but just try your best to stay mindful of a loose 48 hour deadline. Similarly, I'm going to make sure to get through listening and post results for each round in less than a week typically. I know- famous last words- but its true. If I ever take longer than a week to post results I will take a cleaver to my ball sack and send y'all the pieces. Hold me to that. Also- no themes for any of the rounds, apart from the obvious pre-90s bit. I don't want to restrict your options in the slightest.

Finally, I believe we settled on the following group of gladiators:
Dr. DTVT(?)
Elite
jingle.boy
jjrock
kingshmegland
LieLowTheWantedMan
lonestar
Nekov
Scorpion
TAC

It's a shame I can't win myself, as there are a lot of badasses on that list.

I'm actually very wary of winning this one, my oldies collection probably doesn't hold a candle to some of the other gents here. But I'll take my best shot of course.

I won't be able to finish until the new year probably since I am out of town, and only have my phone and iPad for Internet.  You can start when you are ready since I am in my last round, but i don't know if this is a good time of year to start.

Alright everyone...

The new year is upon us and so is this roulette. As I mentioned in a previous post, there are not going to be any themes (just pre-90s). I'm aiming for 8 rounds, a week a piece, to finish before a change of seasons. Also mentioned previously- I'm hoping everyone can generally send within about 48 hours of each new round beginning. However, since this is the first round and we're still in the midst of the holidays with many people probably quite busy (or just avoiding the internet), I'll wait a bit longer before I start pestering people.

Now... go!

Also, if anyone is interested in sending me mp3's (not necessary, but I'd appreciate it) just let me know and I'll shoot you a pm with my email address. Several of you may already have it from my first roulette.
