from podcast #1 here are the songs I rated 8.5 or higher that I didn't already know (basically half the show!)

9.5
Pretty Maids - Until it Dies
Armored Saint - Tainted Past

9.0
Running Wild - Rolling Wheels
Judas Priest - A Touch of Evil
Europe - Break Free

8.5
Vanden Plas - Push
Guardian - Time and Time Again
Nation - Nation
Lizzy Borden - Voyeur
Firehouse - Reach for the Sky
Destinations Calling - Revolution in Mind
Vicious Rumors - When Love Comes Down

Are these songs fairly representative of their respective albums or are some of these outliers on an album with a lot of dreck?

Without going into great detail , the only band in there that is very patchy IMO is Running Wild.  The rest , for the most part, generally produce albums I would rate as half killer/half filler at worst.

Can someone make it snow in my avatar for Christmas? That'd be cool.

Yes, Running Wild is patchy, but it was good to hear them.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

And with Firehouse, go with the s/t debut.  I found Hold Your Fire to have quite a bit of filler.  Their subsequent albums were pretty good though - but, like all glam bands, the mid/late 90s didn't give them much exposure at all.
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Nah, stick with Hold Your Fire. Solid album. Didn't like anything else they did.
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Nice to see Hath rate Armored Saint 9.5, and a certain suck song didn't even make the list. Hath knows what's up!

Not into Firehouse. And I definitely didn't like Voyuer.

It's a number between 10 and 20

It's a number that both 10 and 20 have in common.

If I were to take a complete stab in the dark, I'd say it's a number that if it were represented as an age, would be legal in some places, but not legal in others.

From what I've heard from Running Wild, they appear to be solid, but patchy seems accurate.

The s/t from Firehouse is the way to go; besides Reach for the Sky, Hold Your Fire did nothing for me.

I'd say the first two are excellent but both albums have a couple of tracks that aren't in the same league. Nothing much of note after that apart from the track Acid Rain.

I have one Firehouse album, but I'm not sure which one it is.  It didn't do anything for me though.

I have a Running Wild compilation and I didn't think that was all that special either.

Still need to check Armored Saint from you guys only saying good things about them.

Good song I see there from the Carpe Diem album from Pretty Maids, good stuff.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

I don't own anything from them, so that's definitely one band that will be available in my roulette.

Another Primal Fear song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li_5KB5QuW4&feature=youtu.be

I don't like it near as much as The End is Near, but I like it a lot more than the second song. Decent.

Good call on Waysted Hath. I can't tell you how special of a band they are to me.
