This State of Mind from Elegy is pretty enjoyable too.  The production is pretty muddy but I'm digging it.

One of the better ones with Ian Parry on the mic.  Forbidden Fruit is my favorite Parry/Elegy album.

I might end up checking them all out, good stuff.

As Chad knows I really struggled with the post-Henk stuff..................Henk basically WAS Elegy in my eyes and I didn't think that Rondat wrote much in the way of decent songs (as is often the case with instrumental artists that join established bands :lol  )     For me the last great Elegy album was State of Mind.

I hear ya there.  Manifestation of Fear is tripe... skip that one Kade.  I really like Forbidden Fruit, and Principles of Pain is mostly so-so.

Yeah, I can hear that Brent with Henk.  You can really hear is style and influence between these two albums even with the change of singer.

I'll have a listen to all of them at some stage.  Lost however is getting plenty of spins and the cd sounds great too, really great album.  I don't think anything will top LOD though.  I will have to get a physical copy of that one I think.

Short Clip from the new Judas Priest song. About as cliched a bit of power metal as you could find 😖

The groove at the end of the clip sounds killer.

Looks like the full song is on youtube also.  I'll listen tomorrow if it's official.

It's pretty impressive when only 10 seconds of an album is played and you know the whole thing will rock.

Wow, I know what you're going through here.  Stay strong Paul, you'll get through it.  About 3 years ago dunno if I posted much about it here (I probably did) but I was in the gym and wasn't watching when I pulled a 20kg weight off the rack at chest height when for some reason I didn't have hold of it.  It slammed side on like a guillotine on my left big two and smashed it to pieces and made it flat as a pancake.

Had surgery to pin it together and was in a silly heel boot thing for like eight weeks.  Had another surgery to remove the pins then two weeks later put too much pressure on it one day at work and re-fractured it.  Back in the boot for like another month.  I can't curl the toe now as it's permanetly fused.  Still have trouble with it from time to time now.

My advice Paul, when it's healed still go very very easy, they are small fragile bones and care must be taken.  All the best.

EDIT: Brent's certainly had his fair share of lengthy lower limb injuries also.  We all have so much in common!!!

Ditto... don't think we knew it required multiple surgeries though.

Yeah, it was really nasty actually, there was a chance it had to be amputated, it was as flat as a pancake.  Probably didn't go into it in all detail as I don't like to carry on and make a huge deal, I just get on with it.  I was back at work a couple of days after surgery and back in the gym doing upper body within a week. There's millions more people that were in worst situations in their life so that's the way I look at things.  Wasn't ideal but I hate being idle.

Jeez, reminds me I’ll be 50 in a few weeks.
