Rooted in the Little Brazil section of Winnipeg! :lol

Thanks Tim.....and like you've mentioned before to me Patrick Laine and Mark Scheifele are the future of pro hockey and the men that will bring the Stanley Cup to Winnipeg.  Plus Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega grew up a few minutes away from me.   And like only Chad will confirm and care about...................The Winnipeg Blue Bombers won the fkn Grey Cup  :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal

Let the flaming begin. I don’t care what ya’ll think, anything with Romero is virtually and instant purchase for me.  :P

Wow, that is awful.

Listened to that......no interest............doesn't compare to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Grey Cup win.

Was it as good as my celebrations for this?

30 years I waited. Finally. I have to get a celebratory tattoo now as I pledged to 20 years ago.

And yes, the Lords Of Black was... underwhelming.

I don't typically put any stock in the singles that anyone releases anymore.  JP's Terminal Velocity (song) was pretty underwhelming as well.  Same as the singles that Primal Fear released, and MK FreeFall.  All three of those are excellent albums however.

I'll reserve any judgment.  Plus, I love Lords of Black, so take off, eh!

I've still not given the PF any time. I should rectify that but UFO/Schenker have monopolised my listening. Plus all the best albums from 80-84 in the car.
I'll try to get to it this afternoon.

Meh.  It was solid.  Not really digging the chorus.  I just never liked the guitarist and I don't like his tone.

The lead melody reminded me heavily of Revolution Renaissance's I Did It My Way.

I know Kade recently mentioned how much he likes Long Distance Runner from Maiden. For me, Somewhere in Time is my favorite album from Maiden and two of their most underrated tunes are Stranger in a Strange Land and Deja-Vu

Best album cover in Maidens discography too IMO  :metal

Yes it has been a long wait, and the new season has started already, LFC were a little sluggish against LUFC, hopefully VVD won't make another silly error again this season.

I am not a huge Maiden fanboy but there's my go to album and song.

My go to Maiden is Number of the Beast through Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. That’s the vast majority of my Maiden listening. Somewhere in Time in the stand out for me

SiT was the first Maiden album that disappointed me. Played it the other day and enjoyed it more than I expected. A colleague talked me into it and glad he did. Final Frontier didn’t care as well.

Ditto (+ Killers). I’m good with the first 3 reunion albums, but 80s Maiden is where it’s at.

New Reb Beech track from his forthcoming instrumental album. Nice enough. Going for a Satriani vibe. I'll be up for this album I think.

Hot off the press - advance song from new Teramaze.  Not a fan of their compressed production but sounds promising  :metal

Their last album wasn't too long ago (2019 and not a patch on Her Halo IMHO) and they have had the odd track here and there but this is from their next full album.

Dean shared the link on a chat this morning - apparently the song/video was all home made with the guys locked up in various parts of Melbourne , so they've done a pretty good job of it.

It was decent, but didn't hold a candle to Her Halo.  I'd say it was also a tad below Esoteric Symbolism.  Hard to compare it to the prior releases, as they had a different sound/style.  I knew they recorded a single, and had a release coming.  I'll check this out.
