Here's another old one that I'm "resurrecting:"

Which of their songs that they haven't played for a long time would you like for them to bring back, either now or on the next tour?

Children, PLEASE!

Let's not fight over this.

I think Eve would be a good intro tape.

Not necessarily my all time favorites, but these are songs I would quite like to see a return with the current lineup:

- Any When Dream and Day Unite stuff will probably get me excited
- Prophets of War (wanna see what they'd do with the spoken section)
- A Nightmare to Remember (similar to above example except curious what they'd do with growl section)
- Burning my Soul (Bring it back with samples but with the '96 arrangement)
- Home
- Honor Thy Father
- Panic Attack
- Constant Motion (Curious how they'd deal with the vocal trade offs as JLB couldn't exactly do it all himself)
- A Rite of Passage

Here's a few that I'd like to see more than others though
- The Glass Prison
- In the Name of God
- New Millennium
- In The Presence of Enemies/Octavarium/The Count of Tuscany (I'd settle for any one of these 'epics' and I lumped them together because I couldn't possibly expect all of them so take your pick  :xbones)

Oh, and I don't know if this counts because it's not like it's too long since we've heard them as we've NEVER heard a few songs. So anything they haven't played before, personally I'd actually be pretty stoked if they played stuff like Don't Look Past Me/The Best of Times/You or Me. Finally, bring back doing the occasional cover. Not at the cost of too much DT material, but I enjoy the more inspired covers and DT have always been great at covering other band's music.

Octavarium and A Change of Seasons. These are their two greatest songs and neither has been played since 2006 (A Change of Seasons since 2004). I know both would be well received and could be used as an encore. Other than that, I would love to hear Panic Attack, The Count of Tuscany, and Constant Motion live.

Any song I haven't seen live yet... this includes:

Status Seeker, The Killing Hand, The Ones Who Help to Set the Sun, Only a Matter of Time
You Not Me, Burning My Soul, Hell's Kitchen, Take Away My Pain, Anna Lee
Regression, Through Her Eyes
The Great Debate, Disappear
Repentance, The Best of Times, Far From Heaven
The Bigger Picture, Behind the Veil, Surrender to Reason
I don't want MP playing with DT unless they were making a drummer change. If they let MM go and bring back MP, then fine, but no guest appearance please.

DT likes to bring back old songs lately, so the best part of this thread is that some of these are pretty likely. I'm really hoping that Octavarium, for example, is brought back next tour. It'll be its tenth anniversary next year and the band has mentioned wanting to bring it back, so I could see it happening.

Eve would be cool as well, I wonder if they'd actually do it. As far as non-album songs go, I'd LOVE to see Raise the Knife and Don't Look Past Me as well.

The Glass Prison definitely. I would love to see it played back to back with TSF.

Stream Of Consciousness for sure, has it even been played since the ToT tour?

Anna Lee would also be cool and probably one the guys would be up for. Like Space Dye Vest, it seems like the only reason they weren't playing that was  because MP didn't think it was appropriate.

Eve.

Is overrated.

The Glass Prison.

For once, I'm backing the Zook! It is unbelievable to me that they overlooked TGP yet again.
Not at all interested in hearing the mid 1990s drama telemovie soundtrack known as Eve.

Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

I'm going to agree with those that said SoC.  I was really happy to see DoE live this time around so one of their other great instrumentals would be awesome.

I would really be curious to hear the reaction to Raw Dog   I know it doesn't get much love here but I think we might be surprised  . . . maybe not . . . who knows.

Raw Dog would fucking KILL live, imo. I'm one of the seemingly few who actually like the song, and a heavy instrumental like that would be fun as hell live.

I think for the next tour, if they don't wait until the following year to start again (hell, even if they do), since they don't have any albums celebrating a significant anniversary in 2015, they should absolutely have Octavarium as the encore for it's 10th anniversary. It's a song almost every non-casual DT fan loves and is one a lot asking for. Same with TGP. It's been almost 10 goddamn years since either have been played. I think their next tour should focus on songs they never play anymore, like how this tour there's only 2 songs from ADToE's touring cycle.

I honestly think that the fans would love it. Even those who don't like the song would at least applaud the band for having the balls to actually play it. I just listened to the song for the first time and it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be (it's certainly better than Hells Kitchen). Who knows? It might work live.

This above all others.

Next would be Hell's Kitchen.

And yeah, The Glass Prison, and Octavarium.

Next year is A Change of Seasons' 20th, it'll have been 11 years since they've played it as opposed to nine, and it's an all around superior song to Octavarium. Eve is one of the best songs they've ever put out, and in what fucking universe is Raw Dog superior to Hell's Kitchen?

TL;DR this thread is fail.

Yeah, with them celebrating the anniversaries with such enthusiasm this year, ACOS seems like the safest bet for next year. Other than that, TGP into Blind Faith and I'll be a happy camper. Maybe Take the Time in the encore.

I have to agree with people who said Octavarium and Stream of Consciousness. I also would like to see full ITPOE live, but as it doesn't get a lot of love over the whole DT fanbase, I doubt it will ever happen again. Certainly not in my country.  :D
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.
