oh, i listened to stuff today i guess
ulver - atcp whatever
i didn't really have any expectations going into this since ulver seems to always do whatever the hell they want. i enjoyed this but i wouldn't say it was fantastic or memorable, probably a bit too long. it's apparently just polished-up live jams, and it sounds quite good by that standard
julia hotler - have you in my wilderness
some pretty nice low-key pop, i'll probably listen to this again before i form a solid opinion on this, but i enjoyed this, though it didn't really stick with me either
dekadent- veritas
or is it the other way around i forget. uhh. this was pretty solid black metal. i'm more into the atmospheric stuff but i did enjoy this a fair bit, though i don't know if i'd return to it
too lazy for images today
oh yeah i also listened to the instrumental version of Pelagial instead of the wordy version
it holds up surprisingly well as an instrumental album, but i will probably never listen to that version again regardless. still feels empty in some places. it's just, when has taking a key element out of an album ever improved it? probably numerous times, actually. but not here. what was that one band where everyone said the instrumentals were super great but once the vocals came in they had to turn it off. that was a case of taking a key element out of an album and improving it, yes
