this is... super interesting. really atmospheric black metal that's actually on the lighter side most of the time and has a really 80's feel to it in a good way. especially the synth sounds. i love this aahh

Steve Vai - An Anthology

I can only take his stuff in small doses, but songs like For the Love of God, Tender Surrender and Bad Horsie are just awe-inspiring in terms of composition and how adventurous they are. Vai is always reaching for the stars and on some of these tracks he just totally reaches them.

Finally listened to Swans - The Seer and I've got some bad news for Sacul. I didn't like it at all, it was difficult enough to sit through only one listen. I don't think I'll ever spin it again. But hey, it was interesting to try!

Anyway, now I'm listening to

and this is really excellent. Been listening to this band the whole last week and can't get enough of their music.

I dunno, this is alright but it's nowhere as strong as Bilo 3.0, I feel. None of these tracks do much for me though they're not bad or anything.

i mean, i like some of this, but mostly it doesn't do a lot for me, i dunno. i only listened to the first disc but that sort of feels likes enough to decide it's not for me
