Yngwie - Rising Force, Trilogy

Boss.

Serenity - War of Ages.  Starting to really grow, this is fucking awesome.  Definitely gotta get the two I don't have, great band.

Add Marching Out, and you have the best that I've heard from Yngwie

I always did like Odyssey as well.  But otherwise, yeah.

God, I thought Trilogy was horrible. Odyssey is 10 times better.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I was horrified when it came out. I was into Yngwie from the start, and I just thought it sucked. I thought it was weak, light, and too commercial sounding. When Perpetual Flame came out, I went into a Yngwie mode, and I gave Trilogy a listen. I literally hadn't heard it since it was released. It was worse than I remember.  :D

Trilogy is fucking badass if you ask me.  Great combo of commercial stuff and shred.  Odyssey is a lot better though.

You guys crack me up. Seriously love you guys!

Fury is a great tune from that album

Listening now.  I loved the vocals on Marching Out. Trilogy's vocals sound a lot wimpier.
Ok Fury is a good tune for sure.

Ok. Then that's who I saw sing with Yngwie the two times I saw him in 1985. I've seen pics of JSS and there's no way that's the same guy. :lol
I did do a Image search for Boals and among the pics was that one. It's funny because the first time I saw Yngwie, we were in the 5th row, and I was like, who is this midget singing for him?

And I also want to say that JSS' performance on Marching Out is one of my all time favorite vocals.

He should have kept JSS the entire time........great match those two.  But I guess Yngwies ego is bigger then anything on earth, so nothing will last.

I've told this story before but I thought JSS was very ordinary on the debut (he was very young and just finding his voice) and then when Marching Out came out I was  :omg: ..............who's the new guy?...........and then I was  :omg:  :lol

Even before this convo came up I have a Marching Out track on the next show :metal

I agree 100%. In fact in an earlier post, I wrote something along those lines, but deleted it because I couldn't quite put it into words. I don't think the two songs he sang on the debut were as developed as the Marching Out tracks.

Tonight, I finally solved one of the great TAC mysteries and I found out who was singing to Yngwie when I saw him. For years, I assumed it was JSS. But I've come to question that in recent years due to seeing what JSS actually looks like.
