How would you describe the differences between the two? I know very little of BtBaM albums.

mostly TGM is just a bit more melodic and instrumentally interesting than Colors, at least IMO
with Colors there are moments of tracks where I mostly just tolerate them while waiting for the next good bit, there's very few moments of TGM I'd cut out (and most of them would be in Swim to the Moon, really)

Only through the Khymera so far. It's a bit like the Find Me in that it's class from start to finish but.........

Good - yes.
Fresh - no.

I would rate it 80% after one listen but doubt very much if it'll have much replay value as I have heard it all before a million times. And Denis Ward isn't as brilliant a vocalist as Robbie la Blanc , so it's rated a touch lower than the Find Me.

Had to purchase Crimson Idol, as it wasn't online anywhere. Totally worth it. Got to revist Aenimus and Abydos, as I was multi-tasking too much to really take them in. That Universe Effects album is BALLS!!! (in a good way)
