The Strokes - Angles
The Strokes - Comedown Machine

Liked both these albums when they released but they've just been on repeat these past few days. They're clicking with me on a higher level than usual.

I haven't listened to this in ages, actually not at all to Megadeth.

This was the album that was 'out' when I was kind of getting into them with 'Rust in Peace' etc..

'United Abominations' didn't quite do it for me after this, but giving 'TSHF' a listen now in 2015 isn't bad at all. Truly balls-to-the-wall throughout. I also really enjoy the considerably funky and catchy commercial angle here and there.
Not 'Down To F***', but 'Dream Theater Forums' .

Nice! 1986!!

I was not a fan of Waysted going "American" but Danny Vaughan ultimately won me over with his performance.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

While Heaven Wept: Fear of Infinity (2011)
While Heaven Wept: Suspended at Aphelion (2014)

They got much proggier with these last two albums. I'm sure that with time I'll learn to enjoy them a lot.

Soundgarden: A-Sides (1997)
Stone Temple Pilots: Thank You (2003)

Two damn fine singles compilations by classic grunge bands (although I'm more into Nirvana/Pearl Jam and especially Alice in Chains), huge '90s vibe here.

Just a beast of an album.  I think if someone wanted the definition of a heavy metal album, I just may use this as the example.

Best Ozzy album.

Classic Maiden album.

Excellent and underrated Satch album.

Don't know the other one.

getting to the pointy end of the 1986 listening.  Then onto a dozen or so super obscure ones , Veto being among them.  Good to see I'm not the only one who rates The Ultimate Sin highly - there's not many of us it seems :)

Great tour too for Ozzy with Metallica opening for them on the MOP tour. Saw Jake E. Lee aim his headstock in the crown and watched some tool pull him in by his headstock.  He got back onstage and was pissed!  His guitar wouldn't play and he threw it across the stage and pointed at the guy until security pulled the dude away.  Crazy!
