Interested to know what the Warmen and Unruly Child are like Brent.

The Unruly Child I rate 80% BUT it doesn't rock at all.  It's just 7 songs and it's all a bit like the softest stuff off the debut (Is It Over/Long Haired Woman) etc......   Good for what it is and Mark/Marcie sings well but seriously wimpy.

The Warmen album I rate  80% also .   I think it's better than Beyond Abilities (which had high highs but also plenty of average tracks) as it's more consistent.  There's a couple of instrumental tracks, a couple of vocal tracks each by an unknown female and the dude from Children of Bodom (heavier/deathy) but the majority is done by Pasi from Thunderstone who is a good pick for their sound.  The only questionable tracks are covers of Like A Virgin - could've been worse but why ?  - and Man Behind The Mask.    Remove those covers and the rating would rise a few points. I found this album more enjoyable than the Red Circuit actually.

Probably won't bother with the Unruly Child then.  Might have a listen to the Warmen though.

Beardfish - The Void  Very talented band.  Sleeping in Traffic 1 and 2 are as progressive as you can get, but The Void is a totally different style.  Check it out!  Would love to see these guys live!

If this album can't convince you of what a great band this is, you're quite simply a lost cause.

^ That's a very eclectic mix there! Never thought I'd see Taylor Swift and Symphony X next to each other.

My current listening: Enchant's The Great Divide. 3rd full listen. Transparent Man is definitely a Song of the Year contender for me.

Something of an unexped listen to Morningrise by Opeth. I've forgotten everything about it, possibly six years since I last gave it a listen.

How the hell did they get from this to My Arms, Your Hearse?
