New album by the incredible UK punk band The King Blues. They have recently reformed an are back with all the political venom they always had.

For anyone who is unsure, the album cover depicts a beheaded David Cameron. (UK Prime Minister)

Haven't listened to this one in a while. A bit too overly influenced by HIM but not bad.

This one again. Geez, can't get enough of this style. I'm surprised how varied this album is in terms of songwriting - it never gets boring. And the atmosphere is superb  :heart

On a theatrical binge Paul?  ;D   Never found much love for Styx............how do you think I would react to War of the Worlds?

It's a shame Cherry Pie gets judged on the title track , some really good writing on that (I Saw Red, Mr Rainmaker etc...)

Yeah. My eldest loves The Astonishing and wanted to listen to something similar, plus one of his programs name dropped Mr Roboto. He enjoyed it. I did too - it's not an album I've played much and I don't own it. There's some excellent stuff in Styx back catalogue. Wish I'd thought of them for your roulette actually.

Zach wasn't as impressed by WotW. I thought he would've liked that. It's one of those guilty pleasures for me but it drags a lot after the great first few songs.

And you're right about Cherry Pie. Some very good songwriting. I Saw Red is a classic. Dog Eat a Dog beats CP though.

I think Tom Waits was the lowest in mine, not sure though.
I didn't actually hate it. I just thought it went on for way too long but I guess I just don't understand this kind of music. Just like GY!BE.

[Sentenced - The Funeral Album]

Haven't listened to this one in a while. A bit too overly influenced by HIM but not bad.

That is the other way around, if anything.

Yea, don't quote me on that, I know Sentenced started to lean towards that sort of sound but pretty sure HIM already had a few albums behind them by that time.

Not the biggest Fates Warning but I love this album.

That was my 1st Fates Warning CD.  I never heard them before.  I used to order random metal/rock cds through BMG and Columbia House to check out bands (before the internet) and this was one of them.

My favs from the album are The Road Goes on Forever and The 11th Hour

I've learned really too much Yann Tiersen songs on piano :p I do like them a little less than I used but I still think it's beautifull and relaxing music.

This is still by far my favourite of the TMV albums I listened to, it seems more focused and less random/choatic.

I've been drinking beer since I was 18 and dabbled since I was 16. I have at least 500 beer bottles in my collection and love the fancy shit though my wallet doesn't. I'll drink liquor not even five times a year including shots or mixed drinks. Jack Daniels and Coke is an easy go-to for me. Very smooth nads candy sweet.

Really impressed after just one listen. I admit it became pretty tiring near the end but I think I'll get settled with it soon enough.
Highlights were Stand, The Mighty Masturbator (this song was pure genius), s/t and half of Planet of the Apes. Really did not like Poltergeist but maybe because it was the last song and there was already so much going on before.

I get the tiring thing. It's a pretty crazy album from start to finish. TMM and Planet of the Apes are two of my top 5 Devin tracks.  :metal
