That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Revisiting this one for the first time in almost a year. And I still don't get the hype for Arriving Somewhere :P

You will, young padawan learner. Give it time.

After dozens of listens, I think it's just a great song, but not PT top 10 material imo :P

Now that there's a new EP and potentially more material later this year, time to keep revisiting their discography.

My expanded 'Benny Goodman Greatest Hits' throughout the day, 'The Astonishing' off and on for the past two glorious hours.
...going along with Dragon Attack's Queen thread has been like taking a free class in Queen knowledge. Where else are you gonna find info like that?!

Obviously on the date today, I am listening to The Astonishing and Terria  :metal
"The thing that kills me is all these bands that use huge words in their lyrics, 'I'm swimming in a vortex of apathy.' I'm like, 'What?' I don't walk up to a friend and go 'That's a stylin' looking vortex of apathy you've got there pal. I was swimming up a river of deceit myself."
- Devin Townsend
"poop" - Ziltoid
Prog for life, all hail metal, I'm very Avant Garde,  God give me back my razor, and all that shit!

Had to interrupt after the first two tracks because of an appointment sadly, but now it's totally on, BRING IT ON BABY!

Also my last.fm is gonna be a total disaster, 34 Dream Theater scrobbles every time I spin this album
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

I've been listening to a good bit of Testament lately.  This album is awesome.  Low recently kicked my ass as well.

On my 5th listen. Considering I'm more of a metal guy it really surprises me that I like this album so much. It has a really good chance to crack my top 3 based on my first impressions.

Left side = killer
Right side = I know the bands, but not these albums
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Right side = I know the bands, but not these albums

I would rank the albums something like this

Holy Diver
Low
Nightmares

Bark at the Moon
Back for the Attack

Waiting for the Sun
Winger would be better!
