Is the saint armored or are we talking a different band?

Borealis - Purgatory.

This album is pretty damn killer.

Don't know many of those Brent.

I don't rate what I've heard from the Dead Daises very highly at all.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

A lot of obscure stuff in there  :)   I liked the Borealis too - I think I rated it around 80% and found it took a while to get going but got stronger as the album went on , with some great stuff nearer the end.

I agree about the Dead Daisies - I hoped for a lot more from the debut given Jon Stevens' involvement but found it a snooze.  This new one is supposed to be a lot heavier /better and has Corabi on vox + Tichy/Mendoza ,so I figure it's worth checking out.

Yeah I checked out the first one cause of Stevens too and yeah, very ordinary.  With this lineup it is definitely worth a listen.

Just saw Tony Mills.  I want to check out the solo album from this year featuring Robert Sall.  What I've heard sounded okay.

Just saw that Simon Phillips album cover.  The font on the word 'protocol' is the exact font Primal Fear use.  Interesting.

That recent Tony Mills album is very good.  I am not generally receptive to concept albums as I don't subscribe to the "whole album experience" theory -to me they're either good songs or they're not.  And that album -based on his heart  attack/near death experience (hence the title Over my Dead Body) - really flows nicely , the songs stack up and thankfully it doesn't sound like everything else.........or even Work of Art  :lol

I saw Revelation and just assumed it was a typo.

I haven't heard that album but have one called In The Battle or something............same band?

EDIT:  It was a typo- your album is called The Revelation :neverusethis:

Yes that's the band.

The three albums from the 80s are the best; Warriors of the Son, Times End and Too Late for Living

You know it. :lol

It's similar to Robert Plant's "Now And Zen".  It's a different style for both and has that 80's vibe.  I like both albums a lot.
