More dodgy covers from 1987 and some trivia in among this lot.    The Sacred Child includes demos with David Reece and the main album has Neil Young's sister Astrid on vox.

The Reckless album has Chris Cintron on vox .

Big Country-The Seer.

Christ these guys are criminally underrated. Their first three albums are brilliant and have some amazing musicianship on them but all people remember them for now, if they do at all, is "BAGPIPE GUITARS!"

;D  Before I edited the post i had a little remark at the end along the lines of "Check this one out jj" but I didn't want to make it sound like you're just in it for the hot chix , so I deleted it...........and look what you went and did  :lol

Some trivia for you.   The band (Vice) had quite a different lineup by the time this album was done , but the original incarnation of this band was basically Impellitteri (Rob Rock and Chris Impellitteri).    AFAIK this was only ever released in limited quantities on cassette direct from the band.

The Gentle Storm - Diary

Pain of Salvation - Falling Home

Paradise Lost - Tragic Illusion 25

Garth Brooks - Man Against Machine (Seriously...don;t like country but always like the rock influence in some Garth songs.  Sad that there are better guitar solos on some Garth songs than modern radio rock)

I only have the first and this one. Both very good . Maybe others can advise on the rest and I'd be interested where to go next too.

I used to spin the first three back in the day when Tabula rasa was the most recent one. It was probably my favorite as well, although the other two also have their share of great tracks.

I am going against the crowd and not expecting to be particularly rapt in either of these.....hopefully I'm in for a surprise.
