Finishing off White Sand by Brandon Sanderson with vol. 3, and then keeping with non-fiction by finally reading If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor by Bruce Campbell

Deadman by Neal Adams

Man, that Deadman book was trash. Neal Adams was one of the greatest comic artists ever, but he couldn't write for shit.

Half way through Fourth Wing and its entertaining, but not the most original or amazing piece of work that all the book social media is spreading. Pretty predictable so far.

Also half way through the first book of The Expanse series - Leviathan Wakes and holy hell this is a wild ride. Constant action and no clue what is coming next.

White Sand was a fair experience. The middle volume was my least favorite, but the last volume did a nice job of sticking the landing. The Bruce Campbell was awesome, no surprise. The making of the first Evil Dead movie is pretty much the big selling point of the book, but also really enjoyed the Briscoe County Jr. section and the Hercules/Xena stories at the end. I finished Neil Gaiman's Trigger Warning this morning. A decent amount of stories. "The Sleeper and the Spindle" and "Black Dog" were the highlights, plus the Doctor Who story, but I had read it in a previous anthology. Currently, reading Silverthorn by Raymond E. Feist. Also, Horror Movies FAQ by John Kenneth Muir and Dreamsongs, Volume 1 by George RR Martin (mostly for The Ice Dragon, Sandkings, and Nightflyers)

Paperbacks From Hell is quite good

Silverthorn was solid, already have the last book on hold. Now, it's time to start this year's Spooky Season with My Heart is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones

Halfway through the 2nd entry. I realize I'm a tower junkie, but I think the series still gets better each time I read it.

I inhaled that book (really wasn't super long). Speaking of super long though, with my Year of Sanderson reaching it's final quarter, I thought it was finally time to begin The Way of Kings

Didn't have high expectations and liked it a lot, surprisingly engaging read.

Next up, An Echo of Things to Come by James Islington

One of my favorites.  Not sure which number re-read this is.  My original copy, from publication in 1992.

Very nice! I just checked my beat up copy, and it's the 2000 trade paperback version. Also very well read between myself and my wife, the book's original owner.

Agent Seventeen by John Brownlow .. A contract killer named 17, sixteen killers came before him, and his days may be numbered.
(I actually read an excerpt from the follow up Assassin Eighteen, Purchased that, raced to the library with five minutes before close to get 17.

I have 50 pages left and will start the new tonight but I am loving it so far. He is from the UK, I am in Australia so I assume his books have been released in America as well.

Purchased the new Lee Child too, will read that after this one and then John Grisham's sequel to The Firm, he certainly waited a while to get to that one.

I thought it was finally time to begin The Way of Kings
It took me two weeks to finish it. In between reading it, I decided to reread The Exorcist. Still my favorite horror novel not written by Stephen King. That last quarter of WOK was amazing and got me real excited for Words of Radiance in a few weeks. For my monthly graphic novel, I read Joe Hill's A Basketful of Heads. I finally finished the Friday the 13th book today. Really awesome stuff. Then, as a palate cleanser I read How to Survive a Horror Movie by Seth Grahame-Smith. Now, currently reading A Darkness at Sethanon by Raymond E. Feist

The Secret by the brothers Child

I'm actually just about finished this one. Like all Reacher novels, this reads fast. Better than the last few entries in the series, but not quite as good as the earlier books. Still entertaining though.

Badass Blaine cover though.

I do enjoy it, too. Enough so that it's a major part of my Dark Tower tattoo. Mind you, it looks nothing at all like a futuristic, sentient mono-rail gone off the rails (aren't I just the funniest  ;D). Well, not quite as funny as the 'major motion picture' on the cover, but close.

Not to go into a movie tangent on a book thread, but nobody should have expected that movie to be good at a 90 minute run time.
