In that photo, Shawn looks like the actor Willie Garson, and Brian looks like the actor Bobby Cannivale.

And Barry looks like that dude from The Anabasis.

It's funny you mention actors because Brian's boys are 19 and 22 and one of them - the 19-year-old looks just like his uncle Shawn and wants to be an actor.  He's quite good.  We've seen him in some musicals and dramatic roles on stage and he can do it all, sing, dance, act and he's also a 4.0 GPA student like his father was and his other brother.  Brian has an IQ of 143.  He can solve a Rubic's cube behind his back after looking at it for only a few seconds.  You can give him any two numbers of ANY size and ask him to do ANY math on those numbers and he's 100% correct every time like a fucking calculator.   Shawn's a smart guy and I have an average IQ but neither of us are even close to Brian.  Brian graduated high school at 13 and finished his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering by the time he was 16.  At 19 he graduated with a 4.0 GPA and a master's degree from Rensselaer in NY and went to work for NASA for 15 years, then moved on to the company he's with now where he's been ever since.  Really an impressive person, brother or not.

The funny thing about Brian is he is incredibly brilliant with science and math but can't make himself a bowl of cereal without screwing it up.   :lol

When he used to work at NASA yeah, the "rocket scientist" jokes were common, but he liked to remind us that there really aren't any "rocket scientists" at NASA, that's not what NASA does.  That's what the Jet Propulsion Laboratory does for NASA.  Brian worked on a processor that controlled guidance systems, that was all he was allowed to say about it.

Home run baby!!  Lol

I always could hit all over the field. Funny though as I got older and stopped playing my hand/eye coordination went to hell.  I can't hit anything anymore.

Remember those iron on decals from bands.  They'd make you sweat fast.  They were almost like chest shields.

I picked up my new glasses two days ago. I'm still pretty dizzy from the new lenses. I googled it and apparently it can take a while (up to 2 weeks!) for my eyes to adjust to them.

I'm actually half lucky. My eyesight sucks now, but my distance prescription is the same as +1 readers. Presumably Dollar Tree will be my optician for the rest of my life.

I've bought so many dollar store readers only to sit on every one. I spend 25 dollars on a reader and they last. My be my wallet's conciousness working.   :lol

It's the same with shades.

I'm terrible for not wearing sunglasses, especially in my line of work.

I wish I could pay 3 bucks for my glasses.  :lol

If I had a nickel for every time I though to myself, "dammit, I wish I had a pair of sunglasses right now", I'd be lighting Hef's cigars with hundies.   And then I never actually go out and get any (though I do have a pair of subscription sunglasses somewhere that was a gift and I never wear them since I'm afraid of losing them).

I got subscription sunglasses at the same time I bought these new ones, never had those before. I've never been able to wear sunglasses ever since I started wearing regular glasses at the age of 12.
