Anyway, if you managed to sneak devil horns into some lame MTV show, that's badass on a toast.  :metal Please tell me what that show was again, maybe I can catch it sometime.

Also I've visited a coal mine before. The one thing I remember about it was that in the 1930s, workers were told to smoke cigarettes and grow moustaches to combat the contaminants in the air.  :lol Although a badass moustache is never stronger than cancer.  :'(

E: I remembered wrong, it was an ore mine. The anecdote is true though.

Although I'd check out for Cram (is it ok if I call you Marc?) on TV, only because he's a nice lad.

E: I could ask my mom and sister keep their eyes peeled. I visited them yesterday and they were watching The Real Housewifes of Beverly Hills. Caught a glimpse of it and it sucked.

The TV show is Jersey Shore on MTV, I was just in the background so no point in watching the show or anything, but they did post the full part of the episode from the It Takes Two song and dance so enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XPmhxn2DI4  I should note at 1:28 is my Dad drinking next to the wedding cake  :lol and at 2:18 is the only direct shot of me (with my ex gf, sister and brother in law).

Woke up this morning and saw on facebook that Slipknot was doing a whiskey signing at my local liqour store down the street as they are in town for Knotfest tonight so since it's my first day off on vacation, I had no other plans but to show up.  2 hour wait and it was only three members, not Corey, but still pretty cool. They signed my ticket stub from last week too and also took a picture I'll have to hunt down later

I'm pretty sure you know which one it is too.  Since I brought it out of retirement this summer with my weight loss, it used to be my goto concert shirt (like your blue one) and it seems to have gone back to that status.

My friend and I were questioning to ourselves... why did he show up to the show dressed like he was performing?  :lol  That's his signature misfits hair do.  He had the make up on and everything but was just sitting there for Slipknot.  He must have been backstage though as he was there with his daughter who was the girl wearing the misfits shirt on stage for this Volbeat song Still Counting

Don't knock the shirt thing.  I'm not a superstitious guy by nature, but for various reasons, I had worn that blue collared shirt to a couple shows and I went through a pretty good run:  met Billy Squier and had a decent conversation with him, met Gary Barden and had a decent conversation with him, got to sing "I Love It Loud" on stage with Gene Simmons (some of you might know I'm a Kiss fan), and got third row center for Bruce's Broadway show from the box office day of, and so I wear it to most shows.  I look ridiculous, but I'm almost never the MOST ridiculous person at the shows I go to so I can sleep at night.

I can't speak for Jerry Only, but maybe it was a bonding thing with his daughter; I can't believe he was mobbed in the crowd (no knock on him at all).

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
