I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

It depends on where you live, I suppose. You used to just be deputized for a day by the county, but now, because of State law, you must be an ordained minister.

That thing in the background looks a lot like a glass sculpture at a Casino I go to in CT. It's probably the same artist.

It changes colors and is not always blue.

Man!!! Being that I am a happily married man and consider you a buddy of mine.....I will remain respectful as one should be and just say your daughter is one beautiful woman....holy cow!!

I think that site you linked is just as good as any. What I found was that you just had to verify with whatever county you are performing the marriage in that they will recognize the 'authority' of whichever entity ordains you. Most do.

Yea, the sculpture is a Chihuly. It was commissioned for the 2002 Winter Olympics. It's Chihuly's version of the olympic flame.  :)
