I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

That's a very surreal image. Really cool with the clouds coming in and you in the foreground.

I might try the beanie-glasses-guitar thing as well later, but right now I'm not wearing any clothes.  :o

That was the most recent time meeting the band. It was at their show on March 31st of last year in New Jersey.  The couple sitting next to me were friends of Jordan's and had VIP passes but they had to leave right after the show so they asked my friend and I if we wanted them.  Hell yeah!   

I've met the band numerous times since first seeing them in 1995.  My friend interviewed MP for a local college radio station and asked me to sit in with him since he knew I knew just about everything about the band and figured I could help with some questions.  That was November 22, 1997 at the Irving Plaza show in NYC.  Sidenote, he asked me to sit in on a Ray Alder interview with him once as well.  That same night we had dinner with Fates Warning at a local mexican place.  I remember being at the table with my friend, his contact from the label, and Joey Vera.  The other guys sat the table behind us.

Hey, at first I thought it was a bunny.  He jumps into the prism and all different colored bunnies come out.  That was cool.  But Flareon and Vaporeon are pretty distinctive (even though they still look kinda like bunnies) so I figured out what was going on.  And it's still a cool shirt.  I would wear it.
