It was a really short visit. About an hour. But it ripped the bandage off, so to speak, so hopefully next time she's in town we can spend more time together. I'll admit... I was partially expecting things to go south, because I'm a pessimist. Not just with meeting her but just being accepted as her brother in general... But it was the opposite. Open arms. Hell seeing me in her phone as "Lil Bro <3" made me almost tear up

I recently had it confirmed that I have 2 older half siblings. Never going to meet them most likely, but it's an interesting thing. Very cool you two got to connect.

I've always said that the only change in my life from all of this (finding out that my dad wasn't my biology father and that I had an older half sister and a niece) was the fact that I have a sister and a neice lol. My sister sees it the same way. She has no other siblings minus a step brother whom I don't think she's close with and I think a sister in law. My neice is also thrilled to have an uncle. Win win win. The only thing that really bums me out is the distance. She's from here, as is her boyfriend (whom I've met in the last through bowling funny enough), but she moved to Vegas after her divorce
years ago and like... Has no plans on coming back permanently.

I went to San Antonio back in 2010 or so. It was crazy to find out that The Alamo is right downtown. We figured it would be out... somewhere, like the fort in that last picture.

Yeah, right downtown. We walked to it from our hotel on the Riverwalk. I went with extremely low expectations but it was pretty cool. Looks like they're preparing to build a big museum of some sort on the plaza in front of it.

I was trying to figure out where it was that Ozzy peed.
