Buddy of mine shared this pic.....I'm the very stylish young lad laying on the floor in the striped socks hiked way up watching my buddy Jason play ATARI...this is circa 85'-86ish if I had to take a guess.

 



It's kind of a sad way this pic came to my attention though, the kid to the far left with the blonde hair, Mark....passed away last week in his sleep in a hotel room in Boston while visiting a friend.

I'm still 17.

The two kids on the right (with the Yngwie and Deep Purple shirts) were two of my best friends. The other douchebag was one of their cousins, who was a complete dickhead, obviously. I remember so pissed he was going. So obnoxious.

Every high-school has a few of those.  There was even a t-shirt we had for one of them - Eryk D (can't remember his last name... but the fact that his parents spelled his name with a Y pretty much set him up to be an asshole).

I had that POM shirt, too.  Wore the shit out of it.  I don't know where most of my shirts went (though I still have the Maiden shirt from the Number of the Beast tour I saw.  It's as flimsy as a snowflake at this point (and - sizewise - totally unwearable), but I have it!

My step son had a Halloween party a year or so ago, and  one of his friends dressed as Marty McFly.  Before we figured it out, my brother-in-law and I were like "why is he dressed like us in high school; is he mocking us? WTF!".

  I had to scroll back up to confirm I read that was from the 70s.  Definitely has a much older feel to it.  Cool picture.
