DTFcon 2014.
That would be awesome.

I would love to make this happen... even if we had to set a date for like 18 months from now to give everyone plenty of time to coordinate.

Where is the optimal location/city to guarantee the highest turn out? It seems like there are only a couple 'Midwesterners' and then it's either the East or West Coast.

I like the idea.

You have to factor in the time of year as well as the location.

I'd make sure to time everything so he arrived right as I was finishing the food, so he'd get to see me make it, but it wouldn't take so long that it'd be boring.  I'd serve the foot with a nice, expensive read wine.  And, even though I usually never do this, I'd actually set the table in a nice way so we could enjoy a nice meal.

Wait, why am I telling any of you this?

A better question is why are you going to eat a foot?

We've tried this before

And now I'm in Florida.  I stand by my previous suggestion.  It's in the future so people can plan and school will be out.

St. Louis is smack dab in the middle of the United States, so it therefore makes the most sense for everyone to go there.

Come to Phoenix.
I do quite regularly. In fact, I'm leaving right now.

I would the following people to my parents house and cook them a classic Argentinian barbecue:

lonestar
king
chad
ariich
Zydar

Why? Cause they all seem like great people and were some of the very first people to give me a welcome to the forum. Also because with all of them together a bro only orgy would instantly happen :zydar:

D'awwww

:zydarscouch:

Wait ... We're gonna need a bigger couch.

Also, is it strange that my ipad autocorrects "zydars" to "zydarscouch"?

actually wouldn't Iceland be better to accommodate the European contingent?  Or maybe the southern tip of Greenland?

Nah. We need to take over a completely random town in Nebraska or something like that.
I have a small town here in North Carolina that I can offer.

I've been lucky enough to meet many so far and all have been great to hang with.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I still don't think of DashCon as a Tumblr thing. It happened 30 minutes from my house. I know people that went there just to see how bad it was.
