it's a tie between _floyd and Seneca.

While Seneca can be a smart ass most of the time, he's a good dude, and I enjoy talking to him. I think we have a good bit in common, being the same age and all that.

_floyd is the funniest guy I've probably ever talked to, as he's so quick witted and spontaneous. He's a bit older than me (and that's OK because I'm legal) but he's got the coolest personality.

I really don't care where the dinner takes place. I'd probably be fine if _floyd just cooked, because he knows his shit.

Of course there's a lot of others I want to have dinner with, but these are the two I talk to the most, nearly every day.

I don't like threads like these. It comes off as playing favorites, which I've never been a fan of.

I agree...to an extent. I get that it's lighthearted,  but there's just too many people I would love to share a meal with, and I wouldn't want to leave anyone out.

Setlist Scotty I already know very well and have shared a couple of meals with, but would happily put him at the top of a list for repeat offenders.

Bosk, TempusVox, Zook, KNH, b_f.......crap, I already feel like I'm leaving people out. I don't like this game.

I declare myself the loser, and you're  prize is that you're all invited to dinner.  :xbones

Seriously though, how about in a month? Imma be in Atlanta and I'd like to see if you're as friendly as I pretend to be obnoxious when we're chatting day-to-day. Plus, I heard through the grapevine that you'll do anything for an impressive piece of chorizo.

Dinner!? What kind of man do think I am? I'm gonna make babies with all of you (men can have butt babies it's true) and then not even take you out to dinner. Raise that little shit on your own. It was a fun 3 1/2 minutes!

This.

Also, quit the hypothetical bullshit.  If you want to meet members, just post when you travel.  Most of us will go out of our way to accommodate.  I've met close to 30 members here, and shared meals with a lot of them.  And now that I live 30 minutes from Disney World I expect that number to go up.

My first choice would be JamminDude. We could sit around and talk about Fates Warning the whole time. We could argue about the best Arch-era album.

My second choice would be WolfKing. We would talk everything metal.

My third choice would be Bosk. We could talk about Queensryche, and I would try to convince him how great Fates Warning is.
All of this has happened before and all of this will happen again

I would love to make this happen... even if we had to set a date for like 18 months from now to give everyone plenty of time to coordinate.

Where is the optimal location/city to guarantee the highest turn out? It seems like there are only a couple 'Midwesterners' and then it's either the East or West Coast.

I like the idea.

I would the following people to my parents house and cook them a classic Argentinian barbecue:

lonestar
king
chad
ariich
Zydar

Why? Cause they all seem like great people and were some of the very first people to give me a welcome to the forum. Also because with all of them together a bro only orgy would instantly happen :zydar:

It's settled.  June 22 2015 in Orlando.  School will be out for those in school, and there are plenty of places to dump families in Orlando for the older crowd.

See you in June!
